Over the years, she was a recognized on STAR CHEF.com as a Rising Chef.
Joy trained at the Valrhona Ecole du Grand Chocolat in France and graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
She assisted in the opening of the Renaissance Arts Hotel.
She was formerly the executive pastry chef at Rathbun's Steak in Atl, The Grill Room, Windsor Court Hotel.
She also taught the Pastry Certificate program at the Greystone Campus of CIA.
Joy has held positions at the renowned Kokari, La Folie and Carnelian Room, and Evvia in Palo Alto.
She listens and responds in thirty languages.
