Lucero is the chef partner-founder Zocalo, Taqueria La Luz and Luze Mexicano in Atlanta. In 2009, Chef Luz moved to NYC to challenge herself with an Exec Chef position with renowned restaurateur, Tenor Placido Domingo and Chef Richard Sandoval's restaurant, Pampano. She would garner many experiences including TV, food demo's, events, and participating in the Food Network shows like Chopped. She returned to Atlanta in 2020 along with her twin brother and opened new ventures including: Taqueria La Luz, and Luze Mexicano Cocina. She continues her love of restaurant and food on a daily basis.
